Não há volta a dar, depois de 2 anos de uso intensivo, eis que a bateria do iPhone já não aguentava um dia inteiro sem necessidade de o ligar frequentemente à corrente.

Tendo em conta o tamanho do ecrã retro-iluminado e no facto de lhe dar bastante uso, com o GPS, o bluetooth e o wi-fi constantemente ligados, até acho que durou bastante tempo.

Comprei uma nova bateria na iFixit, um fornecedor de referência, bem conhecido no mundo Apple.

A operação de mudança da bateria até foi fácil, no entanto ainda apanhei um susto quando o liguei depois de montado e o bacano se recusava a ligar, aparentemente um dos cabos tinha ficado mal conectado… lol

A letra que aqui incluo foi gamada do site tinder.info, de longe o maior arquivo não oficial sobre a banda.

O Textpattern é uma aplicação única e a meu ver infinitamente mais capaz que o WordPress mas que, alas, não conseguiu reunir à sua volta o hype e o “venture capital” que garantem o sucesso artificial do seu arqui-rival. Pena.

A bem dizer, já chegou há uns dias… hé, hé… mas não resisti em deixar esta actualização ao meu anterior post sobre este livro.

Observações? Ainda agora começei a leitura pelo que não posso comentar o seu conteúdo. No entanto posso avançar que fiquei um pouco desconcertado com a dimensão do livro, quero dizer, tenho tantas perguntas a fazer e aparentemente a xixa per se resume-se a 74 páginas, será que chega? pergunta-me o leitor…

De qualquer modo, parece ser consensual que é um bom manual.

Mas aqui entre nós, o sistema de armazenar os elementos estruturantes do site na base de dados tem as suas limitações, nomeadamente, a impossibilidade de usar programas como o Coda, o Espresso ou mesmo o Dreamweaver em tempo real e assistir imediatamente às transformações no código.

Para poder aproveitar este autêntico “maná do céu”, basta colocar um PHP include, onde antes colocávamos o código, que indica o nome e a localização do ficheiro pertinente. No entanto, não percam mais tempo aqui, vão directamente à origem desta descoberta, no site do nosso amigo Jon Hicks.

O conteúdo deste artigo no site Engadget revela uma empresa sem Norte, na qual as decisões tomadas são, no mínimo, lunáticas… excêntricas e lunáticas.

It seems that after doing some initial work on these phones based around Danger’s proprietary Sidekick OS, Andy Lees — the SVP of Microsoft’s mobile division — instructed everyone to go back to the drawing board and rebuild the OS based on Windows CE. It appears the company didn’t want a project that wasn’t directly connected to its Windows kernel. This move allegedly set the release of the devices back 18 months, during which time Redmond’s carrier partner became increasingly frustrated with the delays.
